MILLENNIUM MUSIC CONFERENCE 2000
Harrisburg, PA Feb. 10, 11, 12 ,13

Memories of this conference are blurred for me, so I will do my best.  This year we were able to sleep in a house instead of a van, much thanks to Larry and Tom from The Jellybricks.  It is always a blast to hang out with Larry because he is a musicologist and also one of the best guitar players I have ever heard.  He plays like a solid machine, it is beautiful.  Anyway, we were greeted with open arms by Harrisburg.  Arranged for us were 2 Radio interviews, an article in Unsung Hero Magazine, and our showcase in the best time slot of the whole conference.  We were excited.

Morning.  Waking up early isn't so bad when you have a whole day of cool shit to do.  If I was going to Hawaii and my flight was at noon, I'd be up at 4:30am ready to go.  This is sorta how I felt, since this stuff is what I am going to be doing for the rest of my life.  Anyway, we woke early, went to our favorite Harrisburg Diner, and checked out the Hotel.  The Conference actually takes place on a whole floor of a hotel and everyone (magazines, record labels, radio stations) sets up their table with all the info about what they offer.  We chatted with everyone, checked out the tables, talked to the people I recognized from the past years, etc.  Time to head off to the High School Radio station for live performance and interview #1.
